Storytime Schedule 2019
Our storytimes are open to all families–no registration or library card required!
OH, BABY! / Mondays, 9:30 am / for ages birth through 18 months, with a caregiver
Infants and young toddlers will have a blast at this special storytime just for them. This program is designed to support baby brain development and to model how caregivers can easily build preliteracy skills. Board books, classic rhymes, hands-on play and lots of funny faces–oh, baby!
PRESCHOOL PALS / Mondays, 10:30 am / for ages 3 years through 6 years, with a caregiver or independently
Longer stories, more interactive songs, make-believe games and plenty of surprises make this storytime perfect for preschoolers. While emphasizing how awesome books are, we’ll build vocabulary, comprehension skills, and classroom readiness! Children may attend this storytime on their own when they’re comfortable doing so–caregivers are always welcome to join the fun.
TODDLER TOWN / Tuesdays, 9:30 am / for ages 12 through 36 months, with a caregiver
Designed for one-on-one interactions between caregivers and their little walkers-and-talkers. Short books are paired with songs, fingerplays, games, and other silliness. Everyone works together to share stories and make a positive experience for our young and restless learners!
FAMILY JAM @NITE! / Tuesdays, 6:00 pm / for all ages, with a caregiver
Our evening storytime offers something for everyone! Bring the whole family and enjoy stories together.
FAMILY JAM / Wednesdays, 10:30 am / for all ages, with a caregiver
An energetic program designed for everyone! Picture books, pass-around props, silly songs, puppets, and games all emphasize the importance of music and movement in nurturing literacy skills. Prepare to get goofy!
