Sweet Eddie still lives at the library, and he's been enjoying watching all our construction progress! He still gets to exercise every afternoon, and eats fresh kale twice a day. We give him a lot of love, and he can't wait to get a pat from you when we open again soon!
Circulation / Reference Services
Due to the ongoing work, materials must be retrieved by library personnel. Patrons can still access our online catalog to view what is available, including new books and best sellers.
*Mystery bags aren't just for kids! We're happy to pick out books or AV items for patrons of all ages. Just let us know what genres you're looking for and how many items you'd like. We'll put together a bag of recommendations from library staff*.
Both copying and faxing services are still available. Call us at 815-933-1727 to utilize these services curbside.
Curbside Requests are for materials that are currently available at the Bourbonnais Public Library. All other hold requests can be placed as usual—by calling the Library and speaking with Library Staff, or by placing a hold through your PrairieCat account. During Curbside, the Library will also offer a Mystery Bag service. Mystery Bag materials will be chosen by Library Staff based on your genre interests and any other details you'd like to share with us.
