Scavenger Hunt Stop: Josephine’s Bakeshop

The Bourbonnais Public Library offers events specifically geared towards teens. In addition to our Teen Library Club, which meets three times a week throughout the school year, we also provide programs that encourage game play, crafting, and learning new things. We even partnered with Josephine’s Bakeshop to offer a cookie decorating program, just for teens!

Josephine’s Bakeshop is a retro-inspired, family-owned bakery in Bourbonnais! Run by a dynamic mother-and-son duo, Josephine’s is a local favorite for cakes, cookies, and homemade doughnuts. They also give back to the community, partnering with local organizations to raise awareness, raise funds, and celebrate each other.

Our teens will tell you, the best part of any program is the snacks. And there’s no better snack than a sweet from Josephine’s!
