Scavenger Hunt Stop: Bourbonnais Township Park District

The Bourbonnais Public Library offers events and programs specifically geared toward children. A cornerstone of building literacy in children is play. Whether it’s our weekly storytimes and playgroups, or kid-friendly crafts, our programs encourage children to learn, engage, and have fun!

The Bourbonnais Township Park District aims to enrich the lives of Bourbonnais residents through recreation, education, and preservation. Offering summer camp programs, family events, and athletic programs (and so much more), the Park District strives to give opportunities for wellness, education, and recreation for younger patrons!

The library and the Bourbonnais Township Park District both recognize how important literacy and play are for kids’ development, and that’s why we’re excited to partner with each other. Whether you’re attending Barbie Club at the library or Summer Camp through the Park District, there’s something for all of Bourbonnais’ youth!
