Teen Reading Challenge

Join the 2026-2027 Teen Reading Challenge! Each month from September through May, we’ll announce a new theme - it’s your job to read at least one book that fits the theme! Earn prizes for each book you read, as well as entries into raffle drawings for a Barnes & Noble Gift Card every month.

Here’s how it works:

• Starting on the first day of the month, pick up a Teen Reading Challenge card at the front desk of the Library.
• When you read a book that matches the month’s theme, fill out the card with your name and the title of the book. Then, cash in your card for a cool prize at the Youth Services Office. Earn up to THREE prizes per month!
• At the end of the month, every book read will equal one entry into a raffle drawing for a $25 Barnes & Noble Gift Card.

The Challenge is open to teens in grades 7-12, and readers are free to join at any time. Want to chat about books and get early recommendations for next month’s theme? Join us at our Teen BYOB Book Club every fourth Friday of the month, right here at the Library!
