A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for Bourbonnais Public Library District for 2026 will be held on November 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Library, 250 W. John Casey Rd., Bourbonnais, IL 60914

PRE-FILING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that Bourbonnais Public Library District 250 W. John Casey Road, will have candidate packets available weekdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm beginning
August 25, 2026. 

Notice is hereby given that the office of Kelly McCully, Director at the Bourbonnais
Public Library, 250 W. John Casey Road, Bourbonnais, IL 60914 will be open
Monday-Thursday 9:00am to 5:00 pm & Friday 9:00am to 4:00 pm
beginning Tuesday, November 16, 2026 through November 23, 2026
for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions for the Consolidated Election 
to be held on April 6, 2027 for the following offices of the Bourbonnais Public
Library District:

• Library Trustee – Six Year Term
• Library Trustee – Six Year Term
• Library Trustee – Six Year Term

A lottery will be held for all simultaneous filings that are filed at 9:00 a.m. on the first filing day.
